Christina Ellison is a writer from Texas. She recently earned her MFA degree in Creative Writing, Editing, and Publishing from Sam Houston State University and holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her interests include the intersection of realism and folklore, as well as speculative-leaning literary fiction.

During her time at SHSU, Christina was as an editorial and publishing fellow at TRP: The University Press of SHSU, a managing editor of The Measure, and a composition instructor. While at SFASU, she served as a writing tutor as well as a fiction and proofreading editor for HUMID.
​
Christina is currently the Academic Support Specialist at Hastings College in Nebraska, the copy editor for Defunkt Magazine, and a Smithsonian transcription digital volunteer. Her work appears in various journals including tiny wren lit, Garland, and Hyacinth Review.
